We are looking to appoint a passionate and inspirational Assistant Head to work closely alongside our Head as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

In this role you will oversee whole school teaching and learning strategies, set high standards and promote progress for all.

As an outstanding and strategic leader you will be accessible and “hands on” with our team of classroom practitioners. You will need to have high expectations, and be innovative and tenacious in driving high standards for all.

In order to achieve this you will:

  • have an excellent track record of developing others teaching practice;
  • be an outstanding practitioner, who models the behavior you expect of others;
  • have embedded strategies which assess pupil progress and developed targeted learning opportunities to ensure good levels of progress;
  • have an good understanding of the KS2 curriculum;
  • have created well organised and stimulating learning environments, which support good outcomes.

We are looking to appoint outstanding practitioners to work as Year Leaders in our school.

In this role you will be a member of the leadership team, report to the Senior Leadership Team  and be responsible for leading the three classes in each year group.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • be a role model of excellent practice, and support other in the achievement of excellence;
  • have experience of coaching and mentoring others within school coaching plans;
  • coordinated and developed aspects of the KS2 curriculum;
  • created well organised and stimulating learning environments, which support good outcomes.
