Special Educational Needs
At Mount Pleasant Junior School we will do our best to ensure that the necessary provision is made for any pupil who has special educational needs, using the graduated approach. As a highly inclusive school, all pupils are included in all aspects of the school curriculum. This includes extra-curricular clubs and trips and visits. We work to ensure that all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, have equal; access to all aspects of learning and the curriculum. Sometimes this requires us to make adaptations or employ different approaches or resources. We work with parents and pupils to find appropriate and positive strategies to ensure that all learners are included.
