Following the events after the Euro Football Final the Blog Squad wanted to send our school support to players Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka. The pupils wrote notes on hearts and we plan to send them off to the England team to share our support. Before the Blog Squad handed their hearts in, they were all asked to read the hearts and here is what they have to say:

“It doesn’t matter the colour of your skin, only that you show love. It made me feel proud and a bit emotional reading the messages of support.” – Summer, Year 3 Blogger

“Dear Marcus, Jadon and Bukayo I know the racism you have been receiving after the final. I want you guys to know that in this school we have no racism and we could make you feel better, if you ever want to visit!” – Mamadou, Year 4 Blogger

“It doesn’t matter how you look , you do not make fun of anyone! Our 3 Lions are great models of respect. It makes me feel good to see everyone’s messages of support.” – Muskan, Year 5 Blogger
