To bring our 125 Celebrations to a close, we were very lucky to welcome our Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Lena Samuels visit our school and be part of a special assembly. Our bloggers took the opportunity to sit down with the Deputy Lord Lieutenant to ask some questions.

What do you think is exciting about our Bibliotheca?

“It’s beautiful and inviting and a gateway to our future.”

What is a favourite hobby of yours?

“I love to cook, I have many cook books at home. I also like to watch Gordon Ramsey’s Academy on TV.”

In your assembly, you said that you loved reading when you were a child. What was your favourite book that sparked your love of reading?

“The Grimms Fairytales were my favourite.”

Do you have any pets?

“I have two cats, one called Cupid and the other called Sasha, they are both 9 years old.”
